Aurie
Aurie is building the first safely reusable intermittent catheter system. The system features a no-touch design, can be reused up to 100 times, and includes a portable carrying case that automatically cleans, disinfects, and lubricates the catheter between uses, reducing a user's annual catheter consumption from roughly 2,400 to 24. There are approximately 600,000 people in the US living with neurogenic bladder who use intermittent catheters daily. The FDA has designated the device under its Safer Technologies Program and has recently submitted the Aurie system to the FDA for approval.
